Now that you’ve heard about DP, time to get an insight of CP life. In CP, you’ll be required to take at least two DP classes, you’ll have to complete a portfolio, take Adobe certified tests, learn different types of media, create CAS activities, and create projects that revolve around ethics. Throughout this course, you’ll explore multiple medias, you will also learn and grow from the ones you’re into the most. If you’re interested in Digital Media, such as Web and Digital Design, Photography, Architecture, and Cinematography, then this program may be the right one for you!

How have students felt throughout their experience?

“My journey so far has been better than expected. I am actually enjoying what I am doing and want to look more into this type of career field out of High School.” said Luz Tena.

Jesus Garza also shared his journey with us,

“I would describe my journey to be a fun one and a very experimental one as well. I say that because everything is a learning experience in CP. You learn new programs and skills in that class to see if they work for you or not.”

If you’re worried about CP, Luz and Jesus have advice for you!

“Some advice that I’d give is to keep up with your work. Literally do not slack off because it will come back and bite you senior year, but if you give it your all it’ll be so worth it.” said Luz Tena.

“Always have more than one idea or sketch of something. As you create more and more stuff you don’t like, you start to come up with something you actually like based from all of the crappy ideas. Also, utilize social media networks like Pinterest, Behance, and Instagram for inspiration. They’ll help a lot. TRUST ME,” said Jesus Garza.
