Teenagers spend more than an hour on the internet everyday. What do teenagers do commonly on the internet? Most of them comment on social media posts, as a way to express their feelings and thoughts about certain topics.

There are negative cases that reveal cyberbullying on social media. For example, Donovan Livingston who graduated from Harvard University presented a speech, but many people disagree what he said, which ended up in people commenting negative comments under the video such as threats.

Cyberbullying on social media exists because when a person comments something grotesque, which they would not dare say in person, other people will follow by continuing the spread of negativity. It is important to know about cyber bullying on social media because a negative comment can impact others’ perspectives and the community as a whole. There are some measures in place that should block comments, such as the Twitter bans and Facebook rules. So should people be able to comment or not comment on any post?

These companies do this due to inappropriate comments and posts that have been made. People should be able to comment on any post if they are respecting the network and other users.

Social media is a powerful resource for everyone. We should use the internet appropriately and not curse anyone on the internet!
