The Bobcat Football team played against CICS Ralph Ellison High School for its homecoming game. Continuing the trend of success, the Bobcat Football team won the game with a staggering score of 48 to 6.

The effort put into conditioning and studying plays clearly showed as the football team pulled off an interception and some impressive touchdowns. The CICS Lions fought a long and hard battle, no doubt about that. At the end of the day, the CICS Lions could not overcome the pressure and performance that the Bobcat Football team presented.  

To encourage the team, Coach Murphy promised that if the team became conference champions, the team could shave his head. While this one challenge is not the main reason for the success of the team, it does offer insight into the relationship between coach and player. The bond between the coaches and the team seems to be a strong one comprised of work and humor. This relation was shown when the team gave Coach Murphy a Gatorade shower as NFL teams do to celebrate a Super Bowl victory.
