We all know that BOYCP is run by many people holding different positions. There is one job that makes a really big difference and does not always get appreciated as much as it should. That job is the janitor’s position: a custodian.
Sure, their job is messy and unsanitary at times, but that does not mean they just clean. Like all of us, we have lives outside of BOYCP. Below you can get to learn about some of the custodians in BOYCP.
Flores Refugio is wonderfully bright 65 years old, of hispanic descent. She is mother of four sons and four daughters and lives in Brighton Park. She has a variety of interests including music, reading, and cooking. She thinks highly of the students here and hopes for the best out of each one of them.
Another of our superheros is Felipe Solorzano. He is a 65 years old, a husband, and a father of sons and 2 daughters. He enjoys watching soccer, has three dogs, and likes to listen to music. He also lives in Brighton Park. He thinks highly of the students and loves the teachers!
The final custodian interviewed is Nate Shields. He is 57 years old, a father of three kids, a grandfather of 10, and he lives in Englewood. He enjoys baseball and music a lot, and in the past, he was once a baseball player himself. He thinks very highly of the students here, he sees them all as well mannered and kind.
Thank you all for the many gifts you give to our school. It would not be the same place without your hard work.
