Whether you are ready or not, this new school year is well underway. Here are some helpful tips to help you find your best place in our school:

Freshmen- BOYCP is a place you can call home since you will spend four years here. Fitting in and making friends might be a concern, but joining clubs and sports can help you meet people and feel comfortable with others and yourself!

Sophomores- It is never too early to begin crafting your personal projects. The sooner you start, the better the outcome. This year, you will explore yourself more than ever while spending time working on something you are passionate about. Although the project will be stressful, it will help you develop time management skills.

Juniors- You need to consider colleges and prepare for the SAT in April! Deadlines will come sooner than you think, so make plans and follow through. Also, remember to prep for the PSAT.

Seniors- Congrats to the class of 2018; you only have this year to go! During this time, you will work on college applications, apply for scholarships, and ask for recommendation letters. Get started soon, everyone will be busy!

No matter what grade level you are in, it is necessary that you take part in school activities and diligently work toward your goals. Always remember to dream big, set goals, and take action!
